Known for his humorous, pop-culture-filled brand of country western, Brad Paisley is an American singer/songwriter. Born October 28, 1972, in Glen Dale, West Virginia, Paisley released his first album, Who Needs Pictures, in 1999. From then, he has gone on to record nine studio albums. HeÕs had 32 top-ten singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart, was named the 2008 CMA and ACM Male Vocalist of the Year, and was the 2010 CMA Entertainer of the Year. Paisley is married to actress Kimberly Williams, who he first took notice of in the film Father of the Bride. Paisley began dating Williams in 2001 and asked her to appear in his video "I'm Gonna Miss Her (The Fishing Song)". They married in 2003 and have two sons, Huck and Jasper.
Brad Paisley's last name, "Paisley," is a Scottish name that comes from the town of Paisley near Renfrew, where the family held a seat. Another spelling is "Pasley." The first Paisley of note to come to America was James Paisley in South Carolina in 1774.
